Recently, we received extensive evidence an individual named Mahdi Pourrostami is illegally pirating digital products, including Untitled UI, and selling these via piracy websites he has created. Mahdi Pourrostami accepts payments for these pirated products via a zarinpal.com account and was caught using his own account, phone number, and email address.
It's incredibly concerning to see other "designers" distributing pirated copies of their peers' work and we have a zero tolerance policy against people like Mahdi Pourrostami. Not only is selling other businesses' products unethical, it constitutes wilful copyright infringement under both Iranian and international law, which carries severe criminal penalties, including imprisonment under Article 23 of the Copyright Law in Iran.
We have engaged a law firm in Tabriz to assist with copyright and intellectual infringements and are pursuing both civil and criminal charges against Mahdi Pourrostami, along with his associate, Ali Salimzadeh.
