Recently we received extensive evidence that an individual named Erik Xalatyan has been heavily involved in the illegal distribution and sale of pirated digital products, and in attempted fraud by accepting payments for digital products he knew he had no right to sell or distribute.

Mr. Xalatyan advertised dozens of commercial digital products for sale through a piracy website he created called "Design Bay," cowardly hiding behind anonymous Reddit and X accounts to promote it. He agreed to remove the products only once we identified him by name, which tells you what he thought of the risk while he believed he could not be found:

Selling or distributing Untitled UI products without permission infringes our copyright and breaches our License Agreement. Our products are protected by U.S. Copyright (Registration No. TX 9-517-917), and "Untitled UI" and the Untitled UI logo are registered trademarks. This conduct is not merely unethical, it is wilful copyright infringement, which is a criminal offence under the Copyright Act when committed for commercial advantage or private financial gain.
We take unauthorized distribution seriously because it protects three groups at once: our intellectual property, our customers, and other businesses and creators who pay for legitimate licenses and deserve not to be undercut by someone reselling their work.
We have contacted Mr. Xalatyan about this matter but have not received a satisfactory resolution. As such, we are in the process of escalating this matter and will be pursuing both civil and criminal charges, and we have reserved all legal rights.
It's incredibly concerning to see other creators blatantly stealing from their peers and we have a zero tolerance policy against people like Mr. Xalatyan. Below are a list of digital products Mr. Xalatyan has been advertising for sale:
