Recently, we received extensive evidence of an individual named Quỳnh Mai illegally pirating digital products, including Untitled UI. Quỳnh Mai was caught using her own account and email address.
When confronted regarding this, Quỳnh Mai claimed that paying the bare minimum licensing cost as a consequence was not something she considered "reasonable or appropriate". It's incredibly concerning to see other "designers" blatantly stealing from their peers.
We have a zero tolerance policy against piracy and follow up with civil legal action against all individuals who engage in deliberate commercial copyright infringement.
Not only are these actions unethical, but they also constitute a blatant violation of our license agreement and amount to wilful copyright infringement, which is both a civil and criminal offense under the Penal Code of Vietnam. We have engaged an IP law firm we've previously worked with in HCM to assist with copyright and intellectual property matters to file a civil claim regarding this.
