Recently, we received extensive evidence of an individual named Mengggo Liu illegally pirating digital products, including Untitled UI.
Mengggo Liu is responsible for the piracy website super-maker.com (formerly makkker.com), where he sells copyrighted digital products via his "Super-Maker Member Club", including assets from UI8, MR Mockup, ls.graphics, and Directory.
Not only are these actions unethical, this is blatant willful copyright and IP infringement under the laws of the PRC, including the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, and sale of protected digital works for profit.
This is deliberate, commercial piracy for profit, which Chinese courts and authorities treat as a serious criminal offence, with damages up to RMB 5,000,000 per work infringed and imprisonment of up to 7 years.
It's incredibly concerning to see other "designers" blatantly stealing from their peers and we have a zero tolerance policy against people like Mengggo. We have engaged a law firm we've previously worked with in Shanghai to assist with copyright and intellectual property matters.
